GRID Magazine Partnership: Spring 2015

We are excited to be partnering with GRID magazine again for Spring's Go West Craft Fest. For those who aren't aware of GRID, it's a free, award-winning monthly publication dedicated to all things sustainable, with a circulation of over 30,000 copies in the Philadelphia region. In its pages, GRID's staff thoroughly and thoughtfully covers "green" topics like local food & farming, cycling, recycling, alternative energy, water conservation, local entrepreneurs and environmental champions.

April is their Local Craft issue, featuring a 16-page center insert that highlights Go West and 2 other major Philadelphia craft events: Crafty Balboa (April 26 on East Passyunk Ave.) and Art Star Craft Bazaar (May 9-10 at Penn's Landing). There will be general information about each show, features about what makes each one unique, and profiles of selected vendors and participants. The issue will hit newsstands, coffee houses, and other outlets across the Philadelphia region by late March. Here's the insert they did about Go West last spring, which was placed in every issue and handed out at the Fest.

This is a great opportunity for local businesses to get their message seen by GRID's general readership as well as attendees of all three craft events, where GRID will distribute free copies of the issue. Advertising rates can be found below. The 10% discount applies to spaces that are reserved before the "early bird" deadline of February 13.

GWCF co-organizer Emily Dorn of VIX Emporium has been a GRID advertiser since its beginning in 2009, and has found it a great way to increase public awareness of her shop. GRID and its readers greatly value local, independent businesses, and place a high priority on supporting them. Local businesses feed local economies, which supports local sustainability - it's a win-win.

To place an ad, please contact GRID's advertising specialist Jesse Kerns at, 215-625-9850 ext. 100. Artwork is due by March 6.
